To map a user or organizational unit to a COM+ partition set
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
- On the View menu, select Advanced Features.
- Do one of the following:
At the user or organizational unit
- In the console tree, right-click the user name or organizational unit that you want to map to a partition set, and then click Properties.
- On the COM+ tab, under Partition Set, click the partition set to which you want to map the user or organizational unit.
At the COM+ partition set
- In the console tree, click ComPartitionSets.

- Right-click the COM+ partition set to which you want to map a user or organizational unit, and then click Configure Set Members.
- In the Add/Remove Users dialog box, click Add User and Add Org Unit to add the users and organizational units that you want to map to the partition set, and then click OK.

- By using COM+ partition sets, you can associate multiple users or organizational units with a COM+ partition set at one time instead of having to map multiple user identities or organizational units. A COM+ partition set is available to users or organizational units that are mapped to it.
